Her electrifying performances made such an enormous impact that she was invited to sing the role in London and Paris as well. At the end of 2011 she will sing Lady Macbeth again in Madrid. Right now Eva-Maria Westbroek is one of the most sought after Wagner sopranos in the world. This year she will make her first appearance at the Metropolitan Opera, in the role of Sieglinde.
