US drugs giants to make cheaper medicine
New research from the Dutch Access to Medicine Index shows American drug companies are producing cheaper drugs for the developing world. Wim Leereveld who set the bi-annual survey up, explains how it works.

Members of the International Whaling Commission are meeting in Morocco to discuss closing a loophole that means some countries are flouting a ban on hunting. World Wildlife Fund director Leigh Henry is at the conference and says more needs to be done to protect the mammals.

Ministers in India have asked the government to ensure the families of the victims of the 1984 Bhopal disaster are given more compensation.
