Pakistan: where's the money?
Over a million refugees in Pakistan may be left without aid if international donors don't come forward with money they've pledged, say aid agencies. The Haiti earthquake may be to blame, according to Oxfam Novib's Wajihe Anwar.
Belgium divided by language - again
Belgium may be without an acting government by Thursday. It's the same old story: French and Flemish politicians are fighting over the rights of their respective communities. Ordinary Belgians can't make head or tail of it, says our Brussels correspondent Vanessa Mock.
Dutch binge drinking on the rise
Figures published on Wednesday show that the number of serious alcohol-related incidents amongst Dutch teenagers almost doubled last year. Around 500 young people were hospitalised for alcohol abuse. Mireille de Visser, who works at a specialised alcohol outpatients clinic in Delft, says adults are to blame.
