Bangkok protestors and troops in fatal clash
Violence in Thailand continued on Wednesday as both sides in the ongoing standoff between the government and the opposition refused to back down. A soldier was killed and ten others were injured as troops used live rounds and fired rubber bullets into the crowd.

Child abuse priest struck pension-for-silence deal
Oliver O'Grady, the Irish former priest who spent seven years in a US jail for abusing children, still receives a pension from the Roman Catholic Church.
O'Grady also spent two years in the Rotterdam diocese working as a volunteer after his release from jail.
Documentary maker Amy Berg made a film about Mr O'Grady.
