Aung San Suu Kyi "guilty"
Myanmar's opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi is given another 18 months' house arrest by a court in Rangoon. The Nobel peace laureate was convicted on charges of violating state security laws by allowing a US national into her home. The trial has been internationally condemned, with critics accusing the military junta of trumping up charges to ensure Ms Suu Kyi could not take part in next year's elections. Listen to interview with a Myanmar expert who must remain nameless for security reasons.
Security guarantees needed in Swat valley
As hundreds of thousands of Pashtuns and other minorities return to Pakistan's Swat and Buner districts, can the government provide the security, reconstruction and long-term development needed to avoid recreating the conditions that caused them to flee in the first place? Dutch doctors take measures against Mexican flu
Most people who think they may have Mexican flu are likely to want to visit their doctor for help. But in an attempt to prevent the spread of the H1N1 virus, the General Practitioner's Association is calling on the government to inform potential patients that they'll almost certainly get better without medicine if they simply stay home in bed for a few days. And those who do make the trip to the doctor's will find special measures in place. Listen to report by Ewout de Bruijn.
