Another day, another bomb attack in Peshawar
The Pakistan city of Peshawar is hit - again - by a massive bomb blast. This time, a car bomb killed almost a hundred people on a busy market. Most casualties are women and children. Does this show the Pakistani army is losing its battle with the Taliban? Rahud Bedi of the South Asian branch of the International Crisis Group thinks the army simply isn't up to its job.

Secular Palestinian women show defiance despite tougher Islamic social rules
Ruling Hamas imposes more and more Islamic social rules on the people of Gaza, but some women defy these rules by refusing to follow the new 'social code'. Our correspondent David Poort reports from Gaza.

Michael Jackson rules beyond his grave, as the movie documentary This is it premiered late Tuesday night across the globe. Fans in the Netherlands gathered in Amsterdam's Tuschinski cinema at two o'clock (a.m.!) to see the film. But is it any good? Marijke Peters reports.
