Your top 5 songs as indicated by your points - or your prediction of the top 5 if you prefer - will be compared with the FINAL result after all the national juries' points have been counted up. There will be prizes for the three people who are closest to the actual final results. These prizes will be awarded only to people who do not work for RNW (people who work for RNW may vote - we're being kind - but may not win any prizes!).
You may think your own points will not be mirrored by the final result. In that case you may give your points first then add a separate prediction of the TOP 5 songs (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th). In the top-5 prediction you may also include a song or the songs from your own country... if you think they are going to do really well! It's all explained in the email.

For the voters closest to the actual result:
- CD(s)/DVD(s) worth up to 20 euros, 1 T-shirt (RNW or EH40), 1 double CD of the Euro Hit 40 show of 2010.
- The person second closest to the actual result: CD(s)/DVD(s) worth up to 20 euros, 1 T-shirt (RNW or EH40).
- The person third closest to the actual result: RNW USB stick + 1 RNW T-shirt & 1 Euro Hit 40 T-shirt.
The voting instructions were:
- You may give points even if your country does not have a song in the contest.
- In your email: type your name, full postal address and the name of your country. This country may be your own (i.e. the one you are a citizen of) or the one you are living in - you may choose*, but you may not vote for any song from that country. If you do, those points will not be counted.
- These are your points: 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10.
Give 10 points to your favourite song, then 9 to your next favourite, then 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and finally 1 point to your 10th favourite song. You must award points to a total of 10 songs.

[* Example: you are a national of Bangladesh, but you live in Norway. You may vote as part of the jury of Bangladesh, or you may vote as part of the jury of Norway in which case you may not vote for the Norwegian songs.]
Prediction for prizes
Everyone who gives points will be included in the voter-prizes competition (see very bottom of this page), but you may - but are not required or asked to - also add a separate prediction of the TOP 5 songs. If you do, we will use this when we work out who is to get the voter prizes. In this prediction, you may also include the song or songs of your own country. get a VOTER prize (see bottom of page).
