Five years since the signing of a peace accord to end the war in Sudan, aid organisations are warning that the country may be close to returning to conflict, just as 140 people are killed in ethnic clashes in the south.

The International Criminal Court in The Hague this week started to hear the defence of rebel militia leader Thomas Lubanga, who stands accused of recruiting child soldiers. Newsline hears from a former child soldier.
