The Infotheek or Info Library is Radio Netherlands Worldwide's multi-media memory and is staffed by a team of archivists, music and information specialists.
What do we do?
The Infotheek manages the audio archive, which contains around 50,000 original recordings of radio, television and music performances, as well as photo and video material for the websites.
The Infotheek personnel provide background information, topical and historical photographs, audio and video footage as well as giving advice on music.
Who do we do it for?
The Infotheek provides support for all RNW workers who need music advice, information or archive material. In practice, most of our customers are programme producers and journalists from all departments working on items for radio or websites.
We also provide support for interns and students attending the Radio Netherlands Training Centre. The Management Team, the Partner Desk and the Communications Department also make use of the expertise of the Infotheek.
