While it is an individual’s right to deal with the madness of this world in any way they so choose, it never ceases to amaze me how so many people from so many varying cultures continue to cling to the hope that some divine, spiritual, and benevolent (no matter how absent) protagonist will one day make sense of the senseless chaos we call living and all will be explained and made better. In my opinion this only makes it easier for those less scrupulous among us to continue to take advantage of the rest of us. Amazing stories of survival none the less...
