Euro Hit 40 - Europe's No. 1 chart show
Well now, the crtique of Hugo here has a familiar ring to it: "... utterly careless use of language... which lays bare a soul that is intolerant, petty, hateful and resentful". Doesn't this sound even just somewhat like someone we know currently facing a judge in the Netherlands? Perhaps Geert can recommend a good attorney to Hugo!! These statements shouldn't be taken lightly, as they reflect the realization by those who spoke them, that they've awakened too late from the illusion of the populist idealism maksing Hugo's ideology for Venezuela. Sadly, these statements come at the time when the genie has been released from the bottle, and Venezuelans are now subject to whatever desparate tactics Hugo employs to keep himself in power, regardless of the cost to those who elected him. No one now in the Netherlands can claim ignorance should the same political and electoral blueprint fabricate itself there also. David Berridge.
