Sunday 12 February RNW - NEWS AND ANALYSIS FROM THE NETHERLANDS IN 10 LANGUAGES, WORLDWIDE 24/7 ON RADIO, TV AND ONLINE
Cole 20 January 2010 - 12:09pm

Wilders has made the same speech over and over ~ this is all about the criticism of Islam. What his accusers are trying to do is to establish Islamic law in Holland. This law would be similar to the anti-defamation of Islam measure - that mostly Islamic nations are attempting to make legally binding at the UN. There they wish to give Islam - the body of ideas - human status.

While at the same time - they ban the mention of the word Shari'a and all practises therein - at the UNHCR as it is seen as religious and so offensive [stoning, women's rights, etc.].

If we are examining the truth Wilders has a case against the Koran - as some of its chapters do incite followers to violence against non-Muslims. The case here seems to be based on the decision of whether these parts of the Koran should be talked about - openly. In this sense this case can decide very little. It will not make Islamic radicalism or the call for the replacement of the democratic system with Shari'a law go away! Which is how this all got started.
