He is an influential political figure, so people have the right to know where he got the money from otherwise they might think of something like corruption. Transparency is the key in politics, it's the only way to gain people's trust, if he can't figure out this he isn't going to last for long. It's about his character, I doubt someone like Aaron DelSignore for example would have anything to hide, but that's just on opinion.
