SUBJECT: STUDYING FOUR YEARS (BACHELOR) INSTEAD OF STUDYING
THREE YEARS (DIPLOMA)

INTRODUCTION

According to community colleges students request which is studying four years (Bachelor) instead of studying three years (Diploma). This report includes the following:

Why students are request this thing.

Solutions suggested.

Expected result.

DISCUSSION

Reasons of Request

In this part we explained some reasons of this request:

§ First that the certificate of diploma is low than the minimum certificate of university.

§ Second students after graduation have to looking for a job and companies prefer bachelor degree more than diploma certificate.

§ Third if students whom have a diploma certificate want to complete their studying they have to go another university, the universities take the diploma certificate as one year (the introductory year) student have to study three years additional to the three years of diploma, and that is not fair.

Solutions suggested

As students we have some suggested solutions:

§ Responding to community college students request which is studying four years instead of studying three years for getting bachelor degree to be after graduation acceptable everywhere.

§ Provision instructional stuff has at least master's degree.

§ Rehabilitation college to be academic as the others universities.

§ Making a fair counting for subjects and teaching the rest subjects in the fourth year for the current students, and making a new strategy/technique for dividing subjects in scientific, technical, and strategy way, also distribute them in convenient way for each semester for the fresh students in the future.

§ Working for making rules which applied for the bachelor degree to be such as the other universities.

§ Working for making the certificate confessed from all educating ministries.

Expected Results

After responding and execute that request we expect these results include the following:

§ Increase the trust in self of students and that will help them to study hard and to creativeness.

§ Community college certificate will has more trust and it will be acceptable everywhere.

§ Opportunities of having a job will increase, that will be easier than before for community college graduates to get a job such as universities graduates, and that will be fair.

CONCLUSION/RECOMMENDATION

We believe that the solutions will give community colleges more power to be able to contest others colleges and to export skilled hands to the local and the foreign labor market, also that will give students motives to go ahead, to progress and improve them selves, their homeland, and work land.
