Obama is not a pacifist, but do not mistake this for a compliment to him. Opposingly, I find his ideals to be shockingly socialistic and the way the crowds are wooed by his speeches and the public has made him a political celebrity is not unlike the way the Germans first received their Hilter. Though he has done nothing much at this time (1/2/10) it is true that one thing he promised against he has strait up gone against: sending more troops to Iraq. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it just goes to point out that if Bush went this far against his word the media would be in uproar although I must also point out that though not always well-received Bush did do would he said he would, even if he knew his popularity would suffer. Compare this to Lincoln, whose polularity ratings during his presidensy were horribly low; the Northern Republicans felt he was too leinent with the South and the Southern Democrats wanted to seceed from the Union entirely. But now look at him: he is honored as the president who took the necessary steps to preserve the Union and reestablish what our founding fathers meant when they said that each man was endowed by their Creator certain inalienable rights. The problem is that history is written by popculture, and most people do not really look at the situation below the surface. Take a look at Obama's past and you will find that he is heavily involved with terrorist groups who hate America, even donating large amounts of money to them. He is involved with Acorn, a group that due to a sting operation was found more than willing to allow a prostitute to bring in under-aged girls from El Salvador for the same practice; not only this but this group found a clause in tax law so that this prostitute could get a complete refund for all her "buisness expences" such as flying these El Salvadorian girls to the US and buying whatever products they needed. Now that we know how our money is being channeled, maybe the recession is a little more understandable. Obama is a member of this society along with many worse ones, so no he is not a pacifist. But neither was Hitler was he? Obama has not done much yet, but I do not think the change he was talking about was the change America thought she was receiving. His healthcare propisition is completely socialistic, placing every American under the government's care and fining you heavily if you do not wish to receive it. Want to know the truth about his healthcare? Talk to a Canadian or someone from Europe who lives with that type of healthcare already and they will tell you how if you call in with a broken arm they will say they soonest they can see you is in 3 months or how people over the age of 50 are not given meds because they "are likely to die anyway." So if you want your child or grandchild to be born in a hallway waiting to be seen, by all means take your vote. But if you want the liberty to choose your own care VOTE IT DOWN! And look at the real facts, not just the peachy, white-washed ones the media loves to deliver us. America, I know you are smart, so use your resources to find out the truth. Vote down problems before they become out of control and the public is wondering why things are the way they are. Its bad enough Obama won office, but do not forget that if we, the citezens, keep him and the media in check he cannot have too much power. It is when we let up that problems will arise, again I point out Hitler's Germany. Lets not be the next global embarrasment.
