Sunday 12 February RNW - NEWS AND ANALYSIS FROM THE NETHERLANDS IN 10 LANGUAGES, WORLDWIDE 24/7 ON RADIO, TV AND ONLINE
Anonymous 31 December 2009 - 10:59pm / US

There's no need to waste time on the obvious. Nor is there a need to appease the Ultra Conservative /Pseudo Christian right by mumbling all the right incantations about Obama's 'credentials".
Ultimately, the leadership of the West is about POWER. If nothing else, history should teach that ( provided one is careful enough to study it ) . It is unreasonable to expect major differences between "leftist" and "rightist" Presidents. Kindly remember, that elections in a democracy have nothing to do with the 'will of the people" but are rather simply transfers of power between elites utilizing cosmetically different mechanisms of governance. The ends are ultimately identical.
In case this is not clear, please understand the following :
YOU, the 'voter" can choose FROM AMONGST candidates presented to you by 'parties" , but YOU HAVE NEVER and WILL NEVER have the ability, or the right to choose WHICH candidates are presented to YOU for your alleged 'choice". That , my friends...is the truth.
