Hi Hiram, have you ever been travelling through Schiphol AMS airport? You would have noticed the particularly strict security for flights into the US... looks like an ARMY camp, with all the hi-end weapons, it's almost 'scary' but to be sure, that is all to the benefit of securing the passengers. The breakdown is in that indeed Mr. Mutallab WAS on a list but was not properly checked/screened... One cannot hold Schiphol Airport Authorities responsible for the obvious screw-up by US security authorities. Other than that, let's applaud the decisive action taken by Mr. Schuringa and his fellow passengers. Happy Holidays!
