Religion is exactly what you say. Biblical Christianity, of which you obviously have very little first hand knowledge, is not remotely a religion. It is like night and day compared with Islam, Buddha, New Age, you name it. Biblical Christianity led by the Holy Spirit of God, not Catholicism, which places its authority, that is, Church tradition over God's Scripture, cannot compare with knowing Jesus first hand.
Unfortunately, you have been exposed to a cheap imitation of what you were told was Christianity. I will be happy to assist you to know the God of Israel. Would you allow me that privilege?
