Second sponsor drops two-timing Tiger Woods

Published on 14 December 2009 - 9:52am
More about:

A second sponsor has ended its contract with Tiger Woods following revelations of his extra marital affairs.

US consultancy Accenture has decided it no longer wants to be associated with the famous golf player.

On Saturday, Gilette halted an advertising campaign featuring Tiger Woods.

The revelations were made following a car accident two weeks ago. The golf pro drove into a hydrant and a tree after an argument with his wife. In the following days, 10 women said they had had affairs with Woods.

Tiger Woods earns tens of millions of dollars through advertising contracts. A number of sponsors have said they will continue to support him. The 14-time champion says he will take a break from professional golf.
