Those few who are enlightened, just by their presents in the physical universe, can not help but change things. The mere fact of their interaction causes change and they (their physical bodies) are equally disposed toward every living being. They do go towards the flow but they flow (path) towards the Creator of both the spirtitual and physical universe. During their flow they can not do anything but accept those "things' for which their physical body comes into interactions. They are focused on their path to Enlightment; therefore nothing hinders their relationship with Krsna.
