Sunday 12 February RNW - NEWS AND ANALYSIS FROM THE NETHERLANDS IN 10 LANGUAGES, WORLDWIDE 24/7 ON RADIO, TV AND ONLINE
jasmin 7 December 2009 - 2:43pm / India
Hi Marnie, it must be great to attend this meeting. I have a question for you to ask from the delegates at Copenhagen( if you will be reading your column, or if my question reaches you..) We all talk about carbon emissions by industry and vehicles, has anyone paid attention to the amount of heat released by atom bombs, bomb blasts and other weapons into the atmosphere, in wars, by various countries, since WWI till date? What about the heat released by nuclear experiments and the rockets that are propelled into the the space? Hasn't war against terrorism in Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan, increased global warming by the daily explosions? Is this conference about catching the small fish and letting the Mother of all fish-USA, letting go scot-free?
