You are just diverting hope and trust from one thing that doesn't exist (democracy) to another (a higher power). I still don't understand the world's population needing to place blind faith in to something in order to feel as though someone or something is looking out for your greater good. Ever hear the saying "Only YOU can prevent forest fires!"? Well news flash, that statement applies to everything in life. You have the power, the people have the power. Get off your ass and stop hoping for some miracle intervention.
