Sunday 12 February RNW - NEWS AND ANALYSIS FROM THE NETHERLANDS IN 10 LANGUAGES, WORLDWIDE 24/7 ON RADIO, TV AND ONLINE
jasmin 2 November 2009 - 7:54pm
Realist, you are very right when you say,'' Humans once believed in (and prayed to) a rain god because we did not know why it rained. Humans once believed in (and prayed to) a sun god because we did not know why this "bright object" moved across the sky. As science gave us the answers to these mysteries ... these gods were no longer needed ... and they disappeared.'' But the truth is that so long as people, whom you call ignorant, were revering them and were being grateful to them, rains and sun were benevolent..Now you and your like, the scientists, don't give a damn to them, the rains are vanishing and the sun is being harmful...Realist, we need to rever the bounties, Nature has given us, as gods. And about reward and punishment, it is not a rule made by God but by humans to instil faith in people. God doesn't really bother about what petty humans think of Him!! And for you: which person will you befriend, the one who loves you and respects you or the one who hates you and ignores you? Be truthful...I feel, God is nearer to the persons who have faith in Him
