Saturday 26 May RNW - NEWS AND ANALYSIS FROM THE NETHERLANDS IN 10 LANGUAGES, WORLDWIDE 24/7 ON RADIO, TV AND ONLINE
Hiram 21 October 2009 - 7:15am
"I don't understand why death row is grouped in this topic at all, Hiram."......It was meant to contrast the E.U.'s firm stance against the killing (executing) of murderers and at the same time time condoning the killing (abortions) of innocent humans (sorry fetuses, i.e. "an unborn or unhatched vertebrate especially after attaining the basic structural plan of its kindspecificallya developing human from usually two months after conception to birth). Prevention is great start but the killing of an innocent human baby is not. Why does the Western culuture care about saving a live of a murderer who has murdered innocent humans but cares nothing about the lives of babies who can not defend themselves? I was only contrasting the EU's concern over a person found guilty of murder as to it's apathy towards a baby's live. Therefore, if a murderer by EU's standard of morality is not worthy of death; then, one would think an innocent baby would have the same consideration. Prevention prior to pregancy is great but abortions are not. Life is precious, even if it is a fetus.
