Saturday 26 May RNW - NEWS AND ANALYSIS FROM THE NETHERLANDS IN 10 LANGUAGES, WORLDWIDE 24/7 ON RADIO, TV AND ONLINE
Anonymous 12 October 2009 - 10:21am
Afghanistan is a battle which USA (or any other country) should focus on and win. This is not the problem of terrorism, it is more about fairness for people of Afghanistan (even though we will have to run into a deep and various discussion for this statement, but I stand for it). Being the fact, that USA is the only possible country that could conduct this operation, we have to support it. I think what Obama did, by adding more troops, is the right action. This battle should be win by USA in the name of global world. But to remind again, the strategy should be changed. A more efficient military strategic is needed, maybe by adding more aids and representatives to go to Afghans is more make sense. By the peace nobel received by Obama, many people in the world still hope (even though in the front they perform a disagreement of this war), that war in Afghan is ended by the lost of Taliban. Pack and leave is more reliable to be conducted in Iraq, not in Afghan.
