There is absolutely no valid reason to discriminate against gay people in any situation. All the reasons used to try and justify discrimination amount to just one ugly phenomena - homophobia. Shame on the Dutch government and all faith bodies hiding behind the sham twin edifice of tradition and fundamentalism. Faith schools like all schools can only offer a full, prejudice-free education if they employ openly gay people. Any education system which fails to do this is failing its children - gay and straight - to prepare for the real world.
