Saturday 26 May RNW - NEWS AND ANALYSIS FROM THE NETHERLANDS IN 10 LANGUAGES, WORLDWIDE 24/7 ON RADIO, TV AND ONLINE
Abdul Okaka 27 September 2009 - 6:11pm
Thanks Radio Netherlands for publishing this story. I saw the documentary Saving Africa’s Witch children, about four months back, on YouTube—it’s a pity its no longer on YouTube—after being told about it by a friend. I spoke with my Nigerian colleagues about the documentary and they were all surprised. Few knew such a thing existed in their country. I was told the belief in witches and witchcraft is more common in the south of the country. People like Sam Itauma are, in my opinion, heroes. One of my colleagues was of the view that Pentecostal churches in Nigeria need to be seriously checked.
