I have met many white South Africans going to school/living in the US. They get less educational funding, job placement help, and scores of other services in SA. They have also been victims of hate crimes. Because of the belief that racism is only a one way street (white against everyone else) they thought it was easier to just leave the country. One of my professors was a consultant in Chicago and Johannesburg and she stated she was considering cutting Johannesburg out of her schedule because of the ever increasing black on white hate crimes.
