Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders is planning to make a follow up to his anti-Qur'an film Fitna. This time he will focus on the Muslim prophet Mohammed.
The controversial MP announced on Friday that his film on "the barbaric life and the sick mind of Mohammed" will come out in 2012.
Earlier this week, Mr Wilders said in weekly HP/De Tijd that he wanted a public debate on the prophet. He thinks such a debate would provide support for Muslims across the whole world who want to leave the religion. He says reading the Qur'an and looking at the life of Mohammed has made him aware that Islam is "dangerous".
Mr Wilders believes a debate is needed, because people who want to leave Islam risk their lives. He thinks ex-Muslims are heroes who deserve support.
In HP/De Tijd he says, "It's time we help these people by exposing Mohammed." In the article, he suggests that Mohammed suffered from a brain tumour which made him hallucinate and that he wrote down his hallucinations down as visions.
There was a great deal of commotion in the run up to his first film Fitna. However, once it was published on the internet in 2008, most people wondered what all the fuss had been about. A second film was planned for 2010, but the early elections meant a delay in its production.

May Allah forgive Mr. Wilders for this act because he does not know what he is doing.. and in the hereafter, he will receive same punishment with the Muslims who have committed great sins for he was also a Muslim by the time he was born but turned non-Muslim when he grew up. It is an unexpected, but wonderful, outcome to a ridiculous show trial in which a true democrat and brave politican was rightfully aquitted.
But, as usual, the default setting is to describe him as 'right wing', thus the insidious drip of black propaganda continues. Since when did defence of freedom of speech equate to right wing?

Concrete actions are definitely needed to arrest this cancer in our society. There's nothing original about Islam...Its a condicting syncretism of Old an New Testament. That's why people would never make sense of its theology.

Despite the constant nattering about Wilders, there is nothing in the way of coherent rebuttals to his message, either in this forum or elsewhere. It should be noted Mr.Wilders and his party has been consistent in voting against wars on Muslim countries.
TWA, what do you consider civilised? Do you consider the chopping off of one's hand as proper punishment for theft, whipping a woman in a pubic square for exposing her face to the public, beheading a person for being an American journalist, men marrying children in order to satisfy their lust, and many other activities that are not considered civilised in Europe? TWA, Wilders might be a "propagandist" but he is not wrong about the uncivilised teachings that have resulted in uncivilised behaviours, today, by so many Muslims. Personally, I think he is wrong for attacking Mohammed because it does not help the millions of Muslims who do not support the previous mentioned and justified behaviours. In closing women should have equal rights with men and should not be treated as property, children should not be getting married, and those Muslims who do not support these uncivilised activities. Yeah, I remember Fitna. That was the anti-Christian film, correct? It's the one that showed Christian televangelists speaking fire about Islam, then bloody scenes of civilian casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan, right?
