Wilders: a right-wing cabinet, with or without me

Published on 22 July 2010 - 8:21pm
More about:

Populist Dutch MP Geert Wilders says he told the new coalition negotiator Ruud Lubbers that he is hoping serious consideration will be given to a right-wing cabinet with the VVD, the Christian Democrats and his own Freedom Party. And if his own party can't be included, he would support the VVD and the Christian Democrats.

"People didn't vote for us so we could be in the opposition. I remain hopeful. It's time they listened to the 1½ million Freedom Party voters."

The anti-Islam MP said he hopes time will work in his favour and emphasized that, despite being the third largest, his party has not been included in coalition negotiations "for even a minute" so far.

Mr Wilders spent just under an hour talking to Ruud Lubbers today. He told reporters: "It was business-like. Too bad for you but I have no complaints to make".

I really hope that Mr. Mark Rutte and Mr. Verhagen have the good sense to negotiate freely and fairly with Geert Wilders.

They may not agree with Mr. Wilders anti-Islam stand but Mr. Wilders is and has been fundamentally instrumental in a movement in the Western hemisphere which is now growing by leaps and bounds.

The PVV and the opinions and desires that it represents can no longer be ignored and/or denounced by the so-called mainstream because the PVV's ideas now represent the mainstream.

Islam, left unchecked, as it has been for the last forty years or so in the West, by a series of left of centre governments is now poised to Islamicize Europe entirely in the next decade or so unless something is done about this NOW.

Godspeed to Geert Wilders and the PVV who represent an international sentiment which has been a long time coming to fruition but the situation is ripe for action and the time is NOW.
