Rafeal van der Vaart has been named Best Footballer of the Month for October in the English Premier League. He is the fifth Dutch footballer to receive the title, after Dennis Bergkamp, Ruud van Nistelrooij, Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie.

The Tottenham Hotspur player has made a great impression in just two months in England.
   
Van der Vaart, who left Real Madrid in August, scored three times in October and assisted one goal.
