Detention in the Netherlands reminds me of the novel "One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich" written by Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. If you believe some reporters, the Dutch detention system is on the same level of the Soviet's detention centers. I bet Ivan and his buddies at the Soviet detention facility, would have love to be detained in the Netherlands. Please allow these detainees to make a phone call and have their computers? We know they are suspected terrorists and shouldn't be allowed these forms of communications with their associates but how about those who you detain and know nothing about? Can't you see the potential dangers in not properly following security procedures?..........{ As to the statment "A spokesperson for the National Anti-Terrorism Coordinator says there is no specific threat to the Netherlands." There might not have been any evidence of a specific threat to the Netherlands but there was an indirect thereat if the article is true. Terroism in Belgium affects the Netherlands and sooner or later it will happen in the Netherlands. It is just a matter of time. Question: Why doesn't RNW ask investigative questions on people who are detained for terrorism like they did with the Catholic priests and their crimes against children. Isn't that what jouranalists do? Investigate and report the facts!
