Three quarters of all new jobs created in the Netherlands in the past ten years were in the healthcare sector, according to Statistics Netherlands (CBS).
The number of vacancies in the care sector has increased by 385,000, compared to an overall growth of 515,000.
The number of public sector jobs has grown by 101,000 in the past decade, mostly in education.
