French-Dutch airline giant Air France-KLM carried more passengers but less freight in July according to figures released today.
The number of passengers during the month totalled about 7.3 million, up 6 percent, and pushed up profits. However, the amount of freight carried by the airline fell by 2.7 percent. This was blamed on continuing unrest in Africa and the Middle East and over capacity in Asia.
