Many Freedom Party voters lose faith in cabinet

Published on 13 October 2011 - 9:45pm
More about:

Four in ten Freedom Party votes want their party to end its parliamentary support for the centre-right CDA-VVD minority cabinet because of its decision to bolster the European emergency fund.

This is the outcome of a survey among 4,000 Freedom Party voters conducted by current affairs programme EénVandaag.

After just one year of Freedom Party support, many among its electorate have lost faith in the cabinet. Last year October 80 percent had confidence in Prime Minister Mark Rutte’s brand new team, compared to just 59 percent today.
