Leaked: the price of Greek bankruptcy

Published on 19 September 2011 - 4:46pm
More about:

An uncontrolled Greek bankruptcy would cost the Netherlands at least 80 billion euros.

That includes preventing it from bringing down Portugal, Spain and Ireland as well. That’s according to financial TV channel RTL-Z which has seen confidential papers from the Dutch finance ministry.

Civil servants at the ministry calculate that the EU emergency fund for eurozone countries would have to be increased from 750 billion to between 1.5 and 2 trillion euros to keep these countries stable. The Netherlands would be expected to contribute between 80 and 120 billion of that.

A muslim country - the Netherlands saving Greece, Portugal and Spain - symbols of Christianity.
It's a wonderful world and it looks like we can all live in peace :)
