Almost 95 percent of Latvians voted Saturday to dissolve parliament and hold snap elections in September just a year after the last polls, initial referendum results showed.
Provisional data from the central electoral commission showed that the "Yes" camp marshalled an overwhelming 94.79 percent of the vote, while the "No" side received only 4.98 percent.
Turnout was just over 44 percent, the commission's figures showed.
