      Holland play Switzerland to 0-0 draw

      A friendly match between the Dutch and Swiss national teams on Friday evening ended in a goalless draw.

      Holland failed to score from a number of good opportunities in an almost sold-out Amsterdam ArenA. Two attempts by Ryan Babel were blocked by Swiss goalie Diego Benaglio and a shot by Robin van Persie missed the goal by just inches.

      Rafael van der Vaart left the pitch with a hamstring injury after about an hour. He will miss Tuesday's friendly against Germany in Hamburg.
