Holland beat England 3-2 at Wembley

Published on 1 March 2012 - 12:00am
More about:

Two goals from Arjen Robben and another from Klaas-Jan Huntelaar were enough to beat an inexperienced England team in a friendly match at London's Wembley Stadium on Wednesday.

Holland were 2-0 up after two quick goals brought the game to life just before the hour. England managed to level through Gary Cahill and Ashley Young, but Robben scored the winner in the first minute of injury time.

The friendly match was originally scheduled to take place in August 2011, but had to be postponed since serious riots were raging in London at the time.
