Veteran Dutch football trainer Guus Hiddink has been appointed by Russian club Anzhi Makhatchkala, according to Dutch media. Hiddink is reported to have reached agreement on a half-year contract with the club, plus an option for a one-season extension.
Hiddink stepped down as national coach of Turkey after failing to qualify for Euro 2012.
