In the Dutch premier division, it was goals galore in Limburg this evening as Roda JC beat NAC Breda 4-3.

The Limburg team was definitely the stronger of the two; with two goals from Sanharib Malki and one each by Laurent Delorge and Ruud Vormer. Ömer Bayram, Nemanja Gudelj and Alex Schalk scored for NAC. The win puts Roda in front of NAC in 12th place in the premier division.

Vitesse and sc Heerenveen have drawn 1-1 in Arnhem’s Gelredome. Although both teams created chances, play was mediocre in the first half. Wilfried Bony put Vitesse ahead in the 88th minute, with Jeffrey Gouweleeuw scoring the equaliser in injury time.

FC Utrecht has beaten RKC Waalwijk 3-0 at home. The home team climbs to eighth place with 12 points from eight games. Rodney Sneijder scored in the 15th minute, Johan Martensson in the 63rd and Jacob Mulenga scored a penalty in the 79th minute.

RKC played with ten men for the whole of the second half. Just before the break, striker Geoffrey Castillion was sent off. The referee showed the yellow card eight times during the match. RKC is in seventh place with 13 points.

Heracles Almelo beat De Graafschap 2-0 at home on Friday. The opening goal by Glynor Plet fell 12 minutes into the game. Substitute Luis Pedro put the second goal in the net during injury time.

It was Heracles second win of the season. Peter Bosz’ team is in ninth place with ten points. De Graafschap is in 16th place with just 5 points.
