Dutch Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders will publish an anti-Islam book in the first half of 2011, he told the Telegraaf newspaper in an interview on Friday.
“The book is aimed mainly at the US market and focuses on how to combat the spread of Islam on a global level. We can do a lot here in the Netherlands, but we want to send out a strong international signal to the Arab world that a party in the centre of power in this country is fighting back,” Mr Wilders told the paper.
His Freedom Party cherishes “a wide range” of ambitions, he says in the interview. “Our first priority is to launch the International Freedom Alliance, which boils down to a platform against Islam. That will be huge.”
The book will be Mr Wilders’ second, after the publication in 2005 of a short autobiography, titled Kies voor vrijheid (Choose for Freedom).

I really don’t understand what it is in islam that everyone is scared of. If anything muslims are harming each other more than harming non-muslims. That’s if anyone watches the news. Its not the religion, its the people! So Bush can start a war in the name of Jesus, but we still see Christianity as a peaceful religion? Can't anyone see that some actions are justified by religion, doesnt mean that the religion actually allows it. Are we going to ban all religions just because some individuals make mistakes? By the way banning non harmful traditions in someone’s religion is against human right and freedom. To begin with hijab that has been an issue for so many years. Never seen a scarf kill someone. So what are we actually against? Or is it a political game to attract attention, votes and power. Shame on us humans…
I agree. You don’t understand and it is obvious that you have done no research or given much thought to what you have written. Posts on this very page have not even been taken into into account. As a result, you have come across as being profoundly thoughtless.

I will be looking foreward to the release of this book. Geert is a wise, intelligent, and brave person for speaking the truth, and for that he should be supported by all of us. We are lucky to have the Dutch, and the freedom they have to create such a man as Geert. All of western civilization is endebted to you.

You are so typical of the vast number of people who have no idea what they are talking about and so help “sleep walk” the world into disaster….. please therefore permit me to explain (again); Geert Wilders is NOT saying “my god is better than your god” (how childish and ridiculous), no, he is saying “our way of life is better than your way of life, and we are not prepared to let you impose your vastly inferior way of life on us”.
He is opposed to the imposition of the demonstrably inferior and backward ideology of Islam (via its built-in Sharia “law”) on the western systems of SECULAR democracy (please look-up this mysterious word “secular” – you may be surprised to see it has nothing whatsoever to do with *any* gods).

Well it is wonderful to see you joyously happy and cheerful with the spirit of the Holiday Season, Hiram (now no.2)!!The Americans need no schooling about all things Islamic this decade from the information which has been made available to them, so I doubt that Geert can add anything new that would induce an American audience tp pay top market dollar for his latest effort. A better literary move from Geert would be to have his first book "Choose Freedom" translated and published in the US. This measure would introduce Geert more fully and formally to the Americans, and offer something more unique and original by way of of a story which details one foreign politician creating a political party solely upon the issue of being anti-Islamist, and officially being the only member of that party with others involved as being simply "supporters". These are important concepts Geert must introduce so that Americans can comphrehend how Geert can function and grow within the Dutch interpretation of a parliamentary system of government. If Geert is to truly become a hero to Americans they must first understand how he achieves his goals before he can be,at least in his own mind, praised for them. Needless repetition is not the marketing recipe for success here, being someone new and in a different political environment, leading himself to a high profile position in his system will generate sales and interests on their own merits. Hiram, you've got to get your business act together in concert with your political science instincts here, and get out of this December "Mr. Grinch" funk your in!! I fear you might have lost one too many dreidel games during the holidays. Get over it and get creative!! If Geert does a book tour, try to get an autograghed copy for yourself and be happy!! Establishling the "International Freedom Alliance" will indeed be huge for Geert's pocketbook, as this book will test the marketability of he and the PVV in the United States. I seriously doubt that Geert can add anything new that hasn't already been spoken by others like him in the States. What can the book offer in terms of originality to American readers, taking into account what America's political system and leagal base will permit as actionable policies?

Val – there is more irony in your twisted post than perhaps you realise (or may be you are a covert fan of Muhammad, in which case your “reversals of truth” are of course business as usual).
Firstly Geert Wilders goes out of his way to distance himself as far as possible from all Nazis (neo or otherwise) as well as white-supremacist – all of whom he detests and quite rightly despises. His entire “platform” is one of toleration, integration and assimilation (all of which are – believe it or not – actually illegal and forbidden under Islam’s hateful, xenophobic and bigoted sharia laws).
He has made it clear from the start that he has no problems whatsoever with Muslims, as long as they are willing to respect and fully accept all of the laws and rights of the countries in which they live (including European secular or Judo-Christian ones).
It’s the revolting ideological straightjacket of Islam (and its effect on its practitioners and their apologist sympathisers) which is causing waves of violence and anger throughout the world – not brave people like GW merely pointing it out and trying to warn and save us from it.
You (Val) also claim that in the USA Wilders “he won't be taken seriously, except by the media”….. wrong (or lying) again! Vast numbers of people keenly follow his every word and move (as far as they are able despite the apparent near-blanket ban on reporting him) and are incredibly inspired and grateful to him. It is the media who (foolishly or for political reasons) don’t take him seriously.

You tagged him as a neo-Nazis and a hard-core, white supremists because he doesn't support your view.
I will buy the book ASAP, when it is out. I am sure it will be a success.
