      Dutch police arrest terror suspect

      Dutch national police have arrested a 34-year-old man from Almere on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activities.

      The Public Prosecutors’ Office announced the news after a magistrate had remanded the suspect in custody for two weeks.

      The man’s name came up during an intelligence service investigation into jihadist networks. He allegedly intended to join al-Qaeda.
