A subsidiary of Dutch aviation company Stork/Fokker violated the trade embargo against Iran for several years and is facing a fine of millions of euros, says newspaper De Telegraaf.
The subsidiary, Fokker Services, supplied Iran with American spare parts to maintain its fleet of ageing aircraft.
Fokker Services says the company itself reported the violation to the US authorities, with whom they are still discussing the financial consequences.
Stork/Fokker says its subsidiary’s staff were not aware that the trade embargo had been gradually tightened.
Last week, news emerged that Dutch bank ING also failed to heed the Iran trade embargo and is facing a fine of up to hundreds of millions of euros.

So the US seems to be very interested in first seeing some airplanes crashing with hundreds of innocent victims dying.Sound very interesting,I must say.Trade embargoes serve almost never their intended purpose and harm usually people who haven't committed any crime again the US.
