Distributor EOne Entertainment has announced that Dutch dancer Niek Traa will play a part in Streetdance 3D 2.

This will be the first major role for the 23-year-old hip hop artist from Eindhoven, who is known by his stage name ‘Just do it’. Streetdance 3D 2 is a sequel to the British 2010 hit film about a group of London dancers. Shooting will start this week in a number of locations including Berlin, London, Paris and Rome.

The blond dancer from Brabant will be sharing the limelight with a number of famous international dancers including Sofia Boutella, one of Madonna’s lead dancers, who has been cast in the lead part.

Streetdance 3D 2 is scheduled for release in 2012.
