The Colombian Defence Minister Rodrigo Rivera Salazar says 99 percent of Colombians condemn what he called the "provocative stance" of the Dutch FARC guerrilla Tanja Nijmeijer, just as they condemn the FARC's terrorist activities.
In a video published by RNW on Wednesday, Ms Nijmeijer said she would stay with the movement until she dies or until they achieve victory and added that she does not want to be 'rescued'.
Minister Rivera condemned "the provocative and stubborn stance of those who have long lost contact with the reality in Colombia."
Official sources announced on Thursday that the Colombian army has found and destroyed 870 FARC landmines and discovered 90 kilograms of FARC explosives in the southern province of Putumayo.
