Cocaine hidden in wheelchair at Schiphol Airport

Published on 12 September 2011 - 12:03pm
More about:

Customs officers at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport have discovered cocaine hidden in the frame of a wheelchair. They have arrested a 34-year-old man from the Dominican Republic on suspicion of drug smuggling.

The Schiphol Team, which comprises detectives and customs officers, say they used sniffer dogs to spot the drugs. The man, who has no legs, only stopped at Schiphol to change planes; his destination was Milan.

Can´t believe how stupid people are to try to smuggle drugs through airports with all the up to date technology that can x-ray and see almost anything! They always get caught, yet they keep trying.
