Ajax football club have lost their second Champions League match of the season. They were beaten 3-0 by Real Madrid at the Bernabéu Stadium.

Halfway through the first half, the Spanish side broke through the Ajax defence and star attraction Cristiano Ronaldo made it 1-0. Just before half-time, midfielder Kaka widened the margin to 2-0. Karim Benzema scored Real’s third goal just into the second half.

Ajax did a reasonable job to stop Real Madrid making their score even higher. The Amsterdam side even created a few chances, but were unable to convert these into goals.
