      Bomb scare at Amsterdam airport

      Part of Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport has been evacuated due to a bomb scare. A spokesman confirmed that departure lounges 1 and 2 are closed.

      Eyewitnesses have twittered that an apparently mentally disturbed man claimed to have a bomb and has locked himself into one of the toilets.

      A bomb disposal team has been sent to airport.
