The measures against child abuse taken by successive cabinets have had no effect and the number of cases is even expected to rise.
Children’s Ombudsman Marc Dullaert makes these remarks in a letter he sent to parliament on Wednesday. Mr Dullaert writes that there’s an abused child in each and every class room.
Research shows that 118,000 cases of child abuse are reported every year.
